Thus saith the Lord of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.

Ainsi parle Yahvé Sabaot. J'éprouve pour Sion une ardente jalousie et en sa faveur une grande colère.

Thus saith the Lord; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain.

Izao no lazain' i Jehovah: Efa tafaverina ho eto Ziona Aho ka honina eto afovoan' i Jerosalema; ary Jerosalema dia hatao hoe Tanànan' ny fahamarinana, ary ny tendrombohitr' i Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro, dia hatao hoe Tendrombohitra masina.

Ainsi parle Yahvé. Je reviens à Sion et veux habiter au milieu de Jérusalem. Jérusalem sera appelée Ville-de-Fidélité, et la montagne de Yahvé Sabaot, Montagne-Sainte.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

Izao no lazain' i Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro: Mbola hisy lahy antitra sy vavy antitra hipetraka eny an-dalamben' i Jerosalema, samy hitehina amin' ny tehina eny an-tànany isan-olona noho ny fahanterany;

Ainsi parle Yahvé Sabaot. Des vieux et des vieilles s' assiéront encore sur les places de Jérusalem : chacun aura son bâton à la main, à cause du nombre de ses jours.

And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.

Ny kianjan' ny tanàna ho feno zazalahy aman-jazavavy milalao, eny amin' ny kianjany.

Et les places de la ville seront remplies de petits garçons et de petites filles qui joueront sur les places.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the Lord of hosts.

Izao no lazain' i Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro: Raha mahagaga izany eo imason' ny sisa amin' ity firenena ity amin' izany andro izany, moa hahagaga eo imasoko koa va? hoy Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro.

Ainsi parle Yahvé Sabaot. Si c' est un miracle aux yeux du reste de ce peuple en ces jours-là , en serait-ce un à mes yeux ? oracle de Yahvé Sabaot.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;

Izao no lazain' i Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro: Indro, hamonjy ny oloko avy any amin' ny tany atsinanana sy amin' ny tany andrefana Aho;

Izao no lazain' ny Tompon' ny tafika: Indro aho hanafaka ny vahoakako avy any amin' ny tany atsinanana sy ny tany andrefana;

Ainsi parle Yahvé Sabaot. Voici que je sauve mon peuple des pays d' orient et des pays du soleil couchant.

And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

hoentiko mody izy honina ao afovoan' i Jerosalema, ka izy ho vahoakako ary izaho ho Andriamaniny, amin' ny rariny sy ny hitsiny.

Je les ramènerai pour qu' ils habitent au milieu de Jérusalem. Ils seront mon peuple et moi je serai leur Dieu, dans la fidélité et la justice.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the Lord of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.

Izao no lazain' i Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro: Aoka hatanjaka ny tananareo izay mandre izany teny izany amin' izao andro izao avy amin' ny vavan' ny mpaminany, izay teo tamin' ny andro nanaovana ny fanorenan' ny tranon' i Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro, dia ny nanaovana ny tempoly.

Izao no lazain' ny Tompon' ny tafika: Aoka hatanjaka ny tànanareo, hianareo izay mandre amin' izao andro izao, ireto teny avy amin' ny vavan' ny mpaminany ireto, izay niteny tamin' ny andro nametrahana ny fanorenana ny tranon' ny Tompon' ny tafika, mba ho voaorina indray ny tempoly.

Ainsi parle Yahvé Sabaot. Que vos mains se fortifient, vous qui entendez en ces jours ces paroles de la bouche des prophètes, qui prophétisent depuis le jour où furent jetées les fondations du Temple de Yahvé Sabaot pour la reconstruction du Sanctuaire.

For before these days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in because of the affliction: for I set all men every one against his neighbour.

Talohan' izany andro izany tsy nisy karama ho an' ny olona, tsy nisy karama ho an' ny biby, tsy nisy azon' izay nivoaka sy niditra hitokiana amin' ny fahavalo, fa nalefako hifamely avokoa ny olona rehetra.

Car, avant ces jours, le salaire des hommes n'était pas payé et le salaire des bêtes était nul; pour qui se livrait à ses occupations, aucune tranquillité, à cause de l' ennemi; j' avais lâché tous les hommes les uns contre les autres.

But now I will not be unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the Lord of hosts.

Ankehitriny kosa aho efa tsy tahaka ny tamin' ny andro taloha intsony, amin' izay sisa amin' ity firenena ity, - teny marin' ny Tompon' ny tafika.

Mais maintenant, à l'égard du reste de ce peuple, je ne suis pas comme aux jours passés, oracle de Yahvé Sabaot.

For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.

Fa hisy vokatry ny fiadanana, ny voaloboka hamoa, ary ny tany hahavokatra, ary ny lanitra hampilatsaka ny andony, ary ny sisa amin' ity firenena ity no hampandovaiko izany rehetra izany.

Fa ny voa afafy hirobona, ny voaloboka hamoa ny voany; ny tany hahavokatra ny vokany; ny lanitra handatsaka ny andony; ary izay sisa amin' ity firenena ity no hataoko tompon' izany zavatra rehetra izany.

Car sa semence sera en paix : la vigne donnera son fruit, la terre donnera ses produits et le ciel donnera sa rosée. J' accorderai tout cela au reste de ce peuple.

And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong.

Ary toy ny nahatongavanareo ho fanozonana tany amin' ny firenena, ry taranak' i Joda sy ry taranak' Isiraely, dia ho toy izany no hamonjeko anareo, ka dia ho tonga fitsofan-drano kosa ianareo; aza matahotra, fa aoka hatanjaka ny tananareo.

Ary hisy toy izao: Toy ny naha-fanozonana anareo tany amin' ny firenena, ry taranak' i Jodà sy taranak' Israely, no hanafahako anareo, ka hahatongavanareo ho fitsofan-drano. Aza matahotra fa aoka hatanjaka ny tànanareo!

De même que vous étiez une malédiction parmi les nations, maison de Juda et maison d' Israël, de même je vous sauverai pour que vous deveniez une bénédiction. Ne craignez point : que vos mains se fortifient!

For thus saith the Lord of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the Lord of hosts, and I repented not:

Fa izao no lazain' i Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro: Toy ny nisainako hahatonga loza aminareo tamin' ny nampahatezeran' ny razanareo Ahy, hoy Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro, ka tsy nanenina Aho,

Fa izao no lazain' ny Tompon' ny tafika: Toy ny nikasako hahatonga loza taminareo fony nihantsy ny hatezerako ny razanareo, hoy Iavehn' ny tafika, ka tsy nanenenako izany,

Car ainsi parle Yahvé Sabaot. De même que j' avais résolu de vous faire du mal, lorsque vos pères m' avaient irrité - dit Yahvé Sabaot - et que je n' ai pas fléchi,

So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.

no ikasako kosa indray amin' izao andro izao, ny hanisy soa amin' i Jerosalema sy amin' ny taranak' i Jodà; ka aza matahotra.

de même, me ravisant, je me propose, en ces jours, de faire du bien à Jérusalem et à la maison de Juda. Ne craignez point!

These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:

Izao no zavatra tsy maintsy hotandremanareo: Samia milaza ny marina amin' ny namany avy; mamoaha fitsarana eo am-bavahadinareo araka ny marina ary mba hihavanan' ny olona;

Voici les choses que vous devez pratiquer : que chacun dise la vérité à son prochain; à vos portes rendez une justice qui engendre la paix;

And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord.

ne méditez pas en vos coeurs du mal l' un contre l' autre; n' aimez pas le faux serment. Car c' est tout cela que je hais, oracle de Yahvé.

And the word of the Lord of hosts came unto me, saying,

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.

Izao no lazain' i Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro: Ny fifadian-kanina amin' ny volana fahefatra sy ny fifadian-kanina amin' ny fahadimy sy ny fifadian-kanina amin' ny fahafito ary ny fifadian-kanina amin' ny fahafolo dia samy ho tonga fifaliana sy firavoravoana ary fotoana mahafinaritra avokoa ho an' ny taranak' i Joda; koa tiava ny fahamarinana sy ny fiadanana.

Izao no lazain' ny Tompon' ny tafika: Ny fifadian-kanina amin' ny volana fahefatra, ny fifadian-kanina amin' ny fahadimy, ny fifadian-kanina amin' ny fahafito, ary ny fifadian-kanina amin' ny volana fahafolo, dia hanjary andro fifaliana amam-piravoravoana, sy ho fety lehibe, ho an' ny taranak' i Jodà.

Ainsi parle Yahvé Sabaot. Le jeûne du quatrième mois, le jeûne du cinquième, le jeûne du septième et le jeûne du dixième deviendront pour la maison de Juda allégresse, joie, gais jours de fête. Mais aimez la vérité et la paix!

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:

Izao no lazain' i Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro: Mbola hisy firenena sy mponina avy amin' ny tanàna maro ho avy;

Izao no lazain' ny Tompon' ny tafika: Mbola ho avy koa ny firenena amam-ponina avy amin' ny tanàna maro.

Ainsi parle Yahvé Sabaot. Il viendra encore des peuples, et des habitants de grandes villes.

And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts: I will go also.

Ny mponina avy amin' ny iray, hankany amin' iray hafa, ka hanao hoe: Andao, andao re isika, hifona amin' ny Tompo sy hitady an' ny Tompon' ny tafika! - Izaho koa mba handeha!

Et les habitants d' une ville iront vers l' autre en disant : Allons donc implorer la face de Yahvé et chercher Yahvé Sabaot; pour ma part, j' y vais.

Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord.

Eny, ho avy ny olona maro sy ny firenena mahery mba hitady an' i Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro, any Jerosalema sy hifona amin' i Jehovah.

Ka vahoaka maro amam-pirenena mahery no ho avy hitady an' ny Tompon' ny tafika ao Jerosalema, sy hifona amin' ny Tompo.

Et de nombreux peuples et des nations puissantes viendront chercher Yahvé Sabaot à Jérusalem et implorer la face de Yahvé.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

Izao no lazain' i Jehovah, Tompon' ny maro: Amin' izany andro izany dia hisy folo lahy avy amin' ny firenena samy hafa fiteny rehetra hihazona ny sisin-damban' ny Jiosy anankiray ka hanao hoe: Mba handeha hiaraka aminareo izahay; fa efa renay fa momba anareo Andriamanitra.

Izao no lazain' ny Tompon' ny tafika: Amin' izany andro izany, hisy folo lahy avy amin' ny fitenim-pirenena rehetra, ka hihazona, eny hihazona ny sisin-damban' ny Jody anankiray, ka hanao hoe: Mba handeha hiaraka aminareo koa izahay, fa efa renay fa momba anareo Andriamanitra!

Ainsi parle Yahvé Sabaot. En ces jours-là, dix hommes de toutes les langues des nations saisiront un Juif par le pan de son vêtement en disant : Nous voulons aller avec vous, car nous avons appris que Dieu est avec vous.
