And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

Ary Iaveh Andriamanitra, izay efa namorona tamin' ny tany ny biby rehetra eny an-tsaha sy ny vorona rehetra eny amin' ny habakabaka dia nampiavy azy hankeo amin-dralehilahy mba hahitany izay hanononany azy avy; hitondran' ny zava-manana aina rehetra ny anarana homen-dralehilahy azy avy.

Yahvé Dieu modela encore du sol toutes les bêtes sauvages et tous les oiseaux du ciel, et il les amena à l' homme pour voir comment celui-ci les appellerait : chacun devait porter le nom que l' homme lui aurait donné.
